Grade A dark amber maple syrup has a slightly more pronounced maple flavor than grade A medium amber. It is usually made later in the season as the days get longer and warmer. It makes a great table grade syrup for pancakes, waffles, and toast but also makes for an excellent flavoring for drinks, glazes, or even as a marinade. Grade B syrup gets a lot of attention these days but grade A dark amber is a good compromise. The syrups below are all of very good quality.
